The first project in which TSP are
involved, the Gesar Sherab Primary School for children aged
5 - 15, is located in the north-eastern corner of the Tibetan
Plateau in the Chinese province of Qinghai (PRC). The people
living in this region are nomadic and rely upon their yak
and sheep stock for their survival. They don't earn much
(about AUS $50 per person per year), and consequently, live
a very basic life. They are poor in financial terms but
have a reputation for being happy and very hospitable.
